Use of improper boiler water treatment chemicals leads to heavy deposits  scale on heating surface with increases fuel consumption and decreases the steam generation capacity of boilers. To avoid these severe problems the following chemicals can be used in boiler water treatment :

Product Purpose
ALKALINITY BUILDER /PH BOOSTER
 (TECHNOTREAT – AB 11)		 -Maintains Ph of boiler water in the range of 9.5 to 11.00
-Prevents corrosion of boiler tubes
-Hence, ensure risk free plant operation of boiler and turbine

HARDNESS REDUCER
(TECHNOTREAT – HR 41)

-Retards scaling in boiler by precipitating calcium ions as calcium phosphate
-Maintaines 20-30 ppm residual phosphateshould in boiler
-Minimisation of total hardness of boiler water (2 to 9 ppm)
-Protection of system from corrosion

OXYGEN SCAVENGER
(TECHNOTREAT – OS 21 & 21 H)

-Prevents corrosion in boiler by removing dissolved O₂ faster before entering in boiler
-20 – 30 ppm SO₂ residual in boiler water maintained
-Therefore, saves heavy  losses, labourous  job and time due to break downs
SLUDGE CONDITIONER
  (TECHNOTREAT – SC 31)

- Prevents scaling by dispersing and sequestering of calcium, phosphates carbonates ions and other
 suspended solid, which are easily removed by blow down
- Hence, maintain the condition of water
MULTIPURPOSE POWDER
(TECHNOTREAT – MP		 -Anticorrosive and stable in nature
-Helpful in softening and emulsification of water
-Improves alkalinity and phosphate level in boiler water
